As the Mac world eagerly follows the countdown release of Leopard it seems, once again, UK users have been stung with the all too common ”Apple Tax”.
Leopard will soon be retailing in the US at $129.00 and with the current $/£ exchange rate comes to something in the region of £65.00 but not according to Apple. The new OS will be available to loyal UK customers for the grand price of £85.00
I’m sure there must be a valid reason why is costs an extra £20 ($40) this side of the pond…..I’m just not sure of it. And as we get ready for one of the most expensive and locked down phones to ever hit the UK market, I’m a little peeved.
